What Is HIFU?

HIFU — High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound — is a non-surgical facelift treatment that lifts and tightens skin without cuts or needles, and with little to no downtime. How HIFU Works at Aesthetic Lounge

During treatment, a handpiece delivers precise pulses of focused ultrasound energy to specific depths beneath the skin — typically the SMAS layer (the layer tightened in surgical facelifts) and the deeper dermis. Each pulse creates a tiny point of controlled heat that triggers your body's natural repair response: existing collagen contracts and tightens, and fresh collagen is produced over the following weeks. A session usually takes 60 to 90 minutes depending on the areas treated. You may feel brief warmth or tingling as the energy fires; most clients find it very tolerable and return to most everyday activities the same day.

Results build gradually as collagen regenerates. Some clients notice an initial tightening on the day itself, but the real lift develops over eight to twelve weeks as new collagen forms and strengthens.
